Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who excels in client service, enjoys mentoring staff, and wants to be part of a well-respected and growth-oriented firm. The Tax Manager will oversee tax compliance, manage engagements, and be a key advisor to clients on tax planning strategies.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review complex federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts
Advise clients on tax strategies, planning opportunities, and regulatory changes
Lead and manage multiple tax engagements while ensuring quality and timeliness
Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing technical training and performance feedback
Assist in business development and client relationship management
Stay current on emerging tax issues and legislation relevant to our client base

Qualifications

CPA license required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; Master's in Taxation preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax
Strong technical knowledge of federal and Florida state tax regulations
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience with tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
