We are looking for a Principal level Firmware Engineer with a passion for embedded product development to join our team.
We are an established (20+ years) and growing Engineering company specializing in a variety of both medical devices and consumer products.
Hybrid working arrangements. 2 locations to choose:

You will be responsible for developing and testing firmware components for consumer products. Working with a team of software experts, you will use your problem solving and coding skills to create innovative and reliable solutions.

What You Will Be Doing
As a Principal Firmware Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and testing firmware for consumer products. You will be working on both existing and new products, designing and developing innovative solutions, and testing and debugging code. You will also be responsible for making sure that the firmware adheres to regulatory and industry standards.
What You Need for this Position
Must haves:
At least 7 years of experience in Firmware C++, Python, Embedded, Robotics, Medical Device, C++, Version Control, GCC, CMake, Linux, Drivers and other related technologies is essential for this role.
-3+ years experience with Medical Devices
-3+ years Robotics and automation experience
-You should also be familiar with GIT, scripting, and Linux-based application development. In addition, experience with embedded C++, microcontrollers (ARM Cortex, ARM, BLE, WiFi, etc.), low power, wireless (I2C, SPI, CAN, USB, Ethernet), security, cloud, battery, and loop testing is highly desirable.
-Experience with test, networking, peripherals, schematics, and serial communication is also essential.
