Job Title: Trial Paralegal - Plaintiff Personal Injury
Job Location: New York, NY
Salary: $60K-$80K DOE
Requirements: Paralegal, Plaintiff PI, Trial, Trial Binders
- Review discovery and supplement new information/records during trial by drafting supplemental exchanges
- Draft necessary supplemental trial exchanges and medical exchanges
- Review client medical records and ensure all records are accurate and logged
- Prepare trial binders
- Communicate with physicians and other experts to request trial availability
- Request MRI CDs as needed for trial
- Prepare cases for trial; draft trial authorizations, 3120/3122, subpoenas, 3101d(expert disclosures) and 4532a
- Draft other trial documents such as Notice of Intent etc., as needed
- Provide case updates to client/attorneys as needed
- Schedule clients for necessary follow up medical visits and obtain reports
- Draft correspondence letters to third parties as may be necessary to provide background to a legal request or resolve issues
- AS/BS, or paralegal certification preferred
- 2+ years experience working as a trial paralegal
- Plaintiff personal injury experience
- 2+ years experience preparing trial binders
