We're a trusted Thin Film Deposition manufacturer with a need for a Coating Engineer who specializes in Industrial Wear Coatings. This is an onsite position with occasional travel (~10%) and full benefits.
- Create, scale, and troubleshoot projects for wear-resistant coatings
- Communicate with customers to solve problems and drive solutions into production
- Operate coating systems, upstream processes, and perform performance tests
- Explore and implement new surface finishing technologies
- Write quality documentation for new processes, work instructions, training plans, and performance specs.
- R&D and/or Process development experience
- Thin film coating experience (PVD/PECVD)
- Industrial wear coating experience
- Experience with other surface treatments and finishing processes
Salary: $100,000 - $150,000
