Position Overview:We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Tax Senior to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax preparation and review, with expertise in various tax entities including S-Corps, partnerships, C-Corps, and non-profits. As a Tax Senior, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the tax compliance process for our clients, as well as providing guidance and support to junior team members. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take their tax career to the next level and work with a team of talented professionals.Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and review tax returns for various entities including S-Corps, partnerships, C-Corps, and non-profits- Research and analyze tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify tax-saving opportunities for clients- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and address any tax-related questions or concerns- Train and mentor junior team members on tax preparation and review processes- Identify and resolve any tax-related issues that may arise during the preparation and review process- Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate and timely compliance for clients- Assist with tax planning and consulting for clients as neededQualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field- CPA or EA license required- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation and review- Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations for S-Corps, partnerships, C-Corps, and non-profits- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills- Ability to effectively communicate with clients and team members- Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite- Prior experience with tax planning and consulting is a plus- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
