Tax Senior
Position Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Tax Senior to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing tax compliance and consulting services to our clients. You will apply your expertise in diverse areas of taxation, such as corporate, partnership, trust, and individual taxation. You will collaborate with other professionals and provide top-notch customer service to our clients in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and prepare financial statements and tax returns including corporate, partnership, trust, and individual returns.
Analyze tax situation and identify complex tax issues.
Manage client relationships and provide excellent customer service.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure accurate and timely tax services.
Stay up to date on tax laws and regulations and provide advice to clients on tax strategies and compliance.
Develop and implement tax planning strategies to help clients minimize their tax liabilities.
Research and analyze various tax issues for clients, as needed.
Assist with special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
CPA certification is preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of tax experience in public accounting.
Strong knowledge of taxation principles and experience with tax returns.
Experience with corporate, partnership, trust, and individual taxation.
Knowledge of manufacturing, construction, oil & gas taxation is preferred.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
