Position Overview
The Tax Manager will oversee the tax compliance and planning functions of the organization, ensuring adherence to tax regulations and laws while optimizing tax efficiency. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills to lead the tax team and collaborate with various departments to deliver comprehensive tax solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and review the preparation of federal and state tax returns for individuals and corporations.
Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and enhance cash flow.
Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, keeping up-to-date with changes in tax legislation.
Lead tax audits and communicate with tax authorities as necessary.
Provide tax planning advice to clients and internal stakeholders, including risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
Supervise and mentor junior tax staff, fostering professional development and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Master's degree is a plus.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting or tax consulting.
Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
