Position Overview
The Tax Manager will oversee the tax compliance and planning functions of the organization, ensuring adherence to tax regulations and laws while optimizing tax efficiency. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills to lead the tax team and collaborate with various departments to deliver comprehensive tax solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and review the preparation of federal and state tax returns for individuals and corporations.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and enhance cash flow.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, keeping up-to-date with changes in tax legislation.
  • Lead tax audits and communicate with tax authorities as necessary.
  • Provide tax planning advice to clients and internal stakeholders, including risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
  • Supervise and mentor junior tax staff, fostering professional development and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Master's degree is a plus.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting or tax consulting.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
