Superintendent Production Homes
Position Overview
The Superintendent will oversee the construction of single-family home communities in Santa Cruz, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves managing the construction process from start to finish, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all phases of construction for single-family homes
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely completion of projects
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets, providing regular updates to management
- Train and mentor construction staff and subcontractors to uphold company standards
- Communicate effectively with homeowners to address any concerns or questions during the construction process
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in residential construction, particularly with production homes
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and budgeting
- Experience in home building, specifically single-family homes
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with safety regulations and building codes in Santa Cruz
