The senior engineer will work closely with the VP of Technology and Engineering Manager to manage the company's hardware engineering to meet the accelerating demand for the company's products. Previous experience working in engineering and/or manufacturing of products for industrial e.g. petrochemical, oil & gas applications is critical. We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated, organized, proactive, and has demonstrated the skills to successfully manage a team.
Key responsibilities
Manage the product engineering team to develop and execute quality products
Lead conceptualization and development of novel product designs as well as iterative product design improvements
Design customized integration sub-systems for customer interface/project engineering
Design and implement engineering processes, assessing personnel and defining required personnel and contract needs for execution
Working with management and the team for execution of product roadmap
As needed support of Business Development in late-stage customer engagements - support with FEED process for handoff to project engineering
Qualifications
B.S. in an engineering discipline (mechanical, chemical or electrical)
5-7+ years of hardware engineering, including management roles
Self-starter - efficient and effective in an environment requiring multitasking
Excellent communicator both verbal and written - capable of representing the company publicly e.g. customers, conferences, etc.
Organized and diligent - a reliable doer
Capable of designing and implementing processes
Must be capable of executing on work product without significant delegation support
Demonstrated experience in engineering leadership roles in a small and growing company
