Locally owned and based in Bend, we are Central Oregon's one-stop shop for all things commercial real estate, providing brokerage, property management, and construction services to clients throughout Central Oregon and beyond.
-Perform quantity take-offs.
-Conduct site visits to ensure accurate project cost estimation. -
-Assist the Project Executive with the pricing and bidding of construction projects.
-Create and document logical assumptions during conceptual estimating activities, then apply them to takeoff tasks.
-Communicate with architects and consultants to clarify the scope of work, materials, and schedule requirements, and document any clarifications.
-Collaborate with clients, vendors, and team members from various departments to develop estimates and resolve issues.
-Conducts milestone document reviews to help develop and price value alternative opportunities.
-Actively contributes to the internal estimate review process.
-A bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field of study
-10+ years of direct estimating experience as a General Contractor on large-scale ($20+ million) commercial projects.
-Advanced understanding of construction techniques and procedures.
-Excellent organizational skills and a keen sense of detail.
-Previous estimating experience using negotiated bids, hard bids, and the CMP process.
-Practical understanding of construction costs and principles.
-Ability to read and comprehend specifications and drawings.
-Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, estimating, and scheduling software.
- Salary Range $75,000 - $120,000 DOE
