Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role plays a crucial part in financial analysis and supports the overall financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the general ledger and ensure the accuracy of all financial transactions
Prepare monthly financial statements and reports
Conduct reconciliations of accounts and resolve discrepancies
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
Perform journal entries and maintain accurate documentation for financial activities
Assist in fund accounting and financial audits as necessary
Support the Month-End Close process and ensure timely reporting of financial results
Prepare rollforwards and other financial analyses as needed

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
2+ years of accounting experience with a focus on general ledger management
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
CPA certification is a plus
