As a Sales Engineer specializing in Automotive Powertrain Testing Equipment, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and fostering relationships with clients within the automotive industry. Leveraging your industry contacts, technical expertise, and understanding of powertrain systems, you will collaborate with both the engineering and sales teams to provide tailored solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Qualifications
Proven experience in technical sales within the automotive industry.
Working knowledge of powertrain systems and components, with hands-on experience preferred.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
Ability to read 2D plant layouts and use that information to identify the correct equipment offering.
Ability to read and understand detailed customer specifications and use that information to create detailed proposals with support from our experts.
Must wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required
Valid driver's license
Education
Background in Automotive Engineering, Capital Equipment Sales, or related experience.
Experience
Minimum of 6 years' experience in related field
Travel
15% or less
