We are an environmental consulting firm challenging issues relating to chemicals in the environment, workplace, and products. We are seeking an experienced industrial hygienist/project manager to assist in evaluating exposure data and air monitoring results. In addition to industrial hygiene and environmental management, we dedicate a large portion of our services to building sciences.

What You Will Be Doing
- Design, manage, and conduct industrial hygiene field studies related to worker exposures, including, but not limited to, air and noise sampling, area noise, illumination, ventilation surveys, IAQ, ergonomics and other studies.
- Operate and maintain instruments including sampling pumps, calibrators, noise dosimeters, sound level meters, and direct reading gas meters.
- Conduct technical research.
- Develop sampling strategies for industrial hygiene projects.
- Develop and complete workplace exposure assessment plans.
- Conduct safety inspections and provide safety services.
- Assist with environmental health & safety audits at client site.
- Collect notes on activities performed by workers being monitored and/or maintain daily log of activities related to project work.
- Complete data sheets, chain of custody forms, and prepare samples for shipment to laboratory.
- Create data tables and drawings for reports.
- Assist in the preparation of reports which include analysis of industrial hygiene data, regulatory requirements and recommendations. Reports must be technically accurate, grammatically correct, and appropriate for intended audience.
- Interface with clients to plan and complete field work.
- Provide expert consultation to clients as it relates to OSHA compliance, industry consensus standards, and best practices.
- Maintain and build existing client relationships.
- Participate in marketing activities directed at identifying new clients, including trade show participation.
- Support sales team in technical sales.
- Make presentations on industrial hygiene issues.
- Contribute to a learning environment by identifying staff training needs, developing individual development plans, and participating in self- development.
- Demonstrate consistent leadership by inspiring others to work toward the goals of the company.
What You Need for this Position
- Professional experience performing health/safety, environmental or industrial hygiene projects.
- CIH certification
- Consulting experience
- EH&S experience
- B.S. or M.S. in environmental science, engineering, chemistry, safety, biology, or a related field.
