Title: Proposal Manager - Undersea Warfare Solutions
Location: Middletown, RI 02842 (30 minutes south of Providence, RI)
Salary: $140,000 - $180,000 + Bonus + Relocation

We are only considering applicants with strong US Navy / NAVSEA / naval proposal management experience - ideally living in New England area and/or Virginia / DC

Founded in 1999 we are a 200 employee provider of undersea warfare solutions to the DoD & civilian organizations. Some of our primary solutions include the development of fixed & portable underwater tracking ranges, submarine sonar signal processing, combat system data processing improvements, tactical analysis & training evaluation tools. We are targeting to hire a Proposal Manager who will oversee all proposal activities and aid to integrate the win strategy & solution into a proposal structured for compliance & ease of evaluation. Additionally, you will develop & execute review plans / final reviews of the technical proposals.

What You Will Be Doing

Production of final approved responses to RFI, RFP, RFQ, Sources Sought & Market Surveys
Work w/ capture managers to prepare responsibility & compliance matrix
Identify, manage & report on the following:
- Proposal team members, assignments, strategy & deadlines
- Content providers assignments & deadlines
- Review team members
Create, research & organize information from many sources to generate proposals
Reviews RFP & bid/qualifications request docs to understand client requirements
Creates project plans for internal & external proposal / business schedule
Organize & edit all technical, corporate & management written materials supplied by support groups incl: organization of sections, tables, exhibits & attachments
Supports graphics, editing, quality assurance & production

What You Need for this Position

Bachelors in English, Business, Communications or closely related field
7+ years providing government proposal development
Must have a technical writing background / knowledge
Exposure to Department of Defense (ideally undersea warfare division)
Experience leading teams in proposal management sector
Ability to acquire Secret Level clearance
