Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Port St. Lucie, Florida

Base Salary Range: $120,000 to $150,000/year
What You Will Be Doing
The Construction Project Manager will have overall responsibility for planning and executing the construction of a project or multiple projects assigned to them. This person will provide leadership and direction to the Project Superintendent, Assistant Project Managers, Project engineers, and administrative staff to deliver a quality project within he agreed schedule, maximizing the return to the company while earning repeat business from the client.
- Conduct turnover meetings with the Project Estimator to thoroughly examine material, labor, equipment, subcontract, and general conditions estimates.
- Assign project-specific scopes of work to Subcontractors, ensuring a detailed yet comprehensive coverage of all aspects of the project.
- Ensure prompt return of executed subcontracts, insurance certificates, and bonds (if necessary).
- Collaborate with the Project Superintendent and key subcontractors to prepare a baseline schedule and provide accurate monthly updates.
- Actively pursue enhanced work efficiency for the trades.
- Document logic revisions and deliver monthly updates to the Owner, Architect, and Subcontractors.
- Cultivate relationships with Subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Organize and facilitate preconstruction meetings with all Subcontractors and Suppliers to review job-specific details, safety protocols, project schedules, and team introductions.
- Conduct weekly job meetings to provide updates on job progress, safety measures, submittal statuses, RFI responses, and address any project issues.
- Prepare monthly billings based on Subcontractor billings, seeking approval from the Architect or Owner before formal submission, with reasonable projections to months end, and ensure timely payment progress.
- Create monthly status reports for the Owner containing project narratives, updated schedules, submittal lists, RFI logs, and change order logs.
- Initiate change order requests for project modifications, thoroughly reviewing changes and Subcontractor responses for accuracy before submission to the Owner.
- Forecast monthly project costs for review with the Project Executive, including general conditions and open scope items in trades.
- Provide support to Superintendents as needed for material procurement and manpower allocation.
- Address issues with Subcontractors to achieve resolution.
- Collaborate with the Superintendent to compile a detailed worklist at the project's end and expedite the turnover of a quality product.
- Evaluate staff and mentor Assistant Project Managers and Engineers to ensure career progression.
What You Need for this Position
- Commercial Construction - Warehouse or Industrial or Multifamily Experience REQUIRED.
- 5+ years of related project management experience.
- Prior experience in successfully building projects similar in size and complexity.
- Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and work well under pressure to meet established deadlines.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office and database software (Sage Project Management, Procore, MS Project).
- 4-year degree in Engineering, Building Construction, or related field.
- OSHA 10 / OSHA 30 Safety Certification
