We are a leading transportation provider, committed to delivering reliable and innovative solutions across freight, logistics, and passenger transport. We focus on creating efficient systems that improve the movement of goods and people. As we expand our projects, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to lead and manage the planning, execution, and delivery of transportation-related projects.

Position Overview: The Project Manager will oversee a variety of transportation projects, from inception to completion. This individual will be responsible for coordinating resources, managing budgets, ensuring timely project delivery, and ensuring all safety and regulatory requirements are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of transportation operations, project management methodologies, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage transportation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure successful project execution.
  • Monitor project progress, track deliverables, and manage changes or deviations from the plan.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation laws, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
  • Manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and adherence to financial constraints.
  • Lead project meetings, ensuring collaboration, transparency, and problem-solving among team members.
  • Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies to avoid delays or cost overruns.
  • Ensure that all required documentation and reporting are completed accurately and on time.
  • Evaluate and implement continuous improvement strategies for future transportation projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Logistics, Project Management, or a related field. PMP certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in a transportation or logistics environment.
  • Strong understanding of transportation systems, logistics, and supply chain operations.
  • Proven experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar tools).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of transportation industry regulations, compliance requirements, and safety standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex challenges.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for project site visits and client meetings.
