Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a background in Heavy Civil projects to join our team. Position Responsibilities:
Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE, tools, and equipment. Develop a pre-construction safety plan in collaboration with the management team to promote a strong safety culture.
Maintain high standards of workmanship across all crews through systematic internal checks and quality control processes.
Manage prime contracts and subcontracts, overseeing communications, document control, change management, payments, budget updates, performance reviews of direct reports, and scheduling.
Ensure projects are executed profitably and on time.
Keep daily job records and project documents current and accurately entered into the project document control system.
Address and resolve contract issues and conflicts swiftly with project owners, suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening.
Minimum of five years of experience managing heavy civil contracts for public and private projects, including site work, highways, roads, utilities, and airports.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management.
Proficiency in project management software such as HCSS Heavy Job, Heavy Bid, electronic document control systems, and project scheduling tools like MS Project, SureTrak, P6, or similar CPM software.
Proven ability to resolve contract disputes and manage changes effectively and promptly.
Experience managing multiple civil projects ranging from $500k to $25M or more.
