Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Kearny, NJ
Salary: $120,000 - $200,000
We are an electrical construction contractor who have been growing at a strong rate and now need a new PM located in the Kearny area. We are looking for a skilled project manager to join our team, the ideal candidate will have experience with overhead catenary and transmission work on railroads. Position Responsibilities:
Liaise with the General Contractor & Owner, both on-site and at project meetings.
Represent the company during project progress meetings and coordinate accordingly.
Develop work plans in collaboration with the assigned field superintendent.
Assist the project superintendent to ensure efficient construction in line with schedules.
Coordinate field labor with project schedules and railroad outages.
Manage procurement, requisition, and oversight of project materials.
Document construction delays, issues, and RFIs.
Collaborate with management to prepare monthly billing, progress, and budget reports.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in civil, electrical engineering, construction engineering, construction management, or related field.
Minimum of five years of construction management experience.
Preferably experienced in transit and line work.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and documentation abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite; experience with Procore, Kojo, and Sage 300 preferred.
Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
Physical capability to stand and walk for extended periods.
