What You'll Do:
As a Financial Family Office Assistant, you'll play a key role in ensuring seamless financial operations and household administration. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing bill payments and other finance-related household tasks, maintaining organized files.
- Preparing and updating Excel-based financial reports with accuracy and clarity.
- Supporting tax processes by coordinating schedules, processing payments, and keeping meticulous records.
- Maintaining supporting schedules, work papers, and both electronic and paper filing systems.
- Assisting with estate planning tasks and special projects tailored to the family's needs.
- Tracking and documenting the family's philanthropic activities.
- Conducting research and analysis to support financial decision-making.
- Liaising with payroll services and employee benefit providers for smooth coordination.
- Reconciling monthly investment accounts and analyzing financial data (taxes, investments, forecasts vs. actuals).
What We're Looking For:
The ideal candidate brings a blend of technical expertise, discretion, and a proactive mindset. You'll need:
- Proven bookkeeping and accounting skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, including check preparation and bank reconciliations.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) for reporting and analysis.
- A commitment to strict ethical standards, confidentiality, and discretion.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a solutions-oriented approach.
- A self-starter attitude-someone who anticipates needs and takes initiative.
