Job Title: Office Receptionist
Location: West Palm Beach Area, FL
Salary: $20-$25/hour, PTO, Paid Benefits, 401K with matching
Requirements: 1+ year of experience answering phone calls, greeting and seating clients for meetings, filing, mail distribution, copying/scanning
Position Overview: The Office Receptionist is responsible for providing excellent customer service and managing the front desk of a busy office. This position requires a professional and friendly demeanor, as well as strong organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a courteous and professional manner
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate department or person
- Manage the flow of incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Maintain and organize the office reception area
- Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and photocopying
- Coordinate office supply orders and maintain inventory
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Communicate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
- Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience in a receptionist or customer service role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other basic computer skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Professional and friendly demeanor
- Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of office equipment such as printers, copiers, and phone systems
- Familiarity with basic office procedures and protocols
