Temporary part-time Marketing assistant role 20-30 hours/week (4-6 hours/day) responsible for administrative marketing tasks and supporting the marketing team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Support the marketing and communications team by managing administrative tasks such as data entry, budget tracking, and reporting.
- Collaborate in the creation and distribution of marketing and communications materials including blog posts and newsletters.
- Assist in maintaining the company intranet, website, and social media pages as needed, ensuring content is current, relevant, and engaging.
- Create and schedule engaging content for social media platforms, monitor interactions, and analyze the performance of posts.
- Respond promptly to direct messages on social media platforms, providing high-quality customer service and addressing inquiries or concerns to enhance customer satisfaction and engagement.
- Monitor brand reputation and sentiment across digital platforms, providing insights to optimize marketing strategies.
- Prepare and distribute internal communications to foster company culture and employee engagement, promoting upcoming events and company news.
- Provide general assistance to the marketing and communications team to ensure smooth daily operations and successful project outcomes.
EDUCATION
HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Bachelor's Degree preferred
EXPERIENCE
1-year marketing or administrative experience preferred

- Takes initiative and is a self-starter
- Able to prioritize tasks, multi-task and meet deadlines
