Who you are:
Bachelors degree in Engineering
3+ years of mechanical/manufacturing engineering experience
Experience in manufacturing or industrial setting preferred
Experience with CAD software
FEA, structural design, fluid control, design analysis, component assembly
BOM, ERP experience
What you will be doing:
Review customer specifications to identify engineering requirements, including accessories
Prepare mechanical designs with 3D CAD software
Prepare general arrangement drawings for customer review
Perform design review and technical discussions with customers as required, explaining or resolving technical matters
Perform structural design and calculations
Perform industrial ventilation calculations
Prepare bill of materials (BOMs) and bill of routing.
Prepare manufacturing technical drawings for production
Research and develop solutions for improvements to current product lines
Specify system components or direct modification of products
Ensure designs conform to engineering design standards and practices as well as agreed upon specifications
Provide manufacturing support and assistance for product and prototype build
As needed, assists with the building of machinery utilizing parts, tools, fasteners, etc.
Provide design and technical guidance to other members of the engineering team as needed
