Position Overview: The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of all equipment within the logistics facility. The ideal candidate should possess strong skills in equipment maintenance and repair, as well as have experience with installation and HVAC maintenance. 2:30pm - 10:30pm Wednesday through Saturday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all equipment to ensure optimal functionality and identify any potential issues.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
- Perform repairs and/or replacements of faulty equipment or parts as needed.
- Collaborate with other team members to coordinate and assist with equipment installations and upgrades.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed for reporting and tracking purposes.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations during all maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintaining and repairing equipment, preferably in a 3PL or logistics environment.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical equipment maintenance and repair techniques.
- Experience with installation of new equipment and upgrades.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
