Job Description:

As a Litigation Attorney, you will be responsible for handling a wide range of complex commercial disputes and representing our clients in both state and federal courts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in one of our practice areas and a proven track record of successfully litigating cases.

Position Overview:

In this role, you will be responsible for providing legal counsel and representation to our clients in various business-related disputes, including contract disputes, intellectual property disputes, and employment law matters. You will also be responsible for conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and representing our clients in court. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as a strong understanding of business law and litigation procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in various litigation matters
  • Conduct legal research and provide legal counsel to clients on potential courses of action
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
  • Prepare for and participate in trials and other legal proceedings
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the litigation process
  • Stay current with legal developments and changes in the law that may impact our clients

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the state bar and in good standing
  • 1+ year of experience in litigation, preferably Employment, Class Action, Toxic Tort, Business, or Real Estate
  • Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and laws related to business disputes
