Litigation Associate
Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated Litigation Associate to join our team and provide high-quality legal support. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of litigation cases, from inception to completion. They will provide legal advice and guidance, prepare pleadings and motions, and represent clients in court proceedings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft legal pleadings and motions and prepare court documents
- Represent clients in civil courts
- Investigate facts and research legal precedents
- Participate in negotiations and court proceedings
- Provide legal advice and guidance
- Handle personal injury cases
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients
- Stay current on legal developments in areas of expertise
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Active membership in the state Bar Association
- Proven experience as a Litigation Attorney
- In-depth knowledge of civil litigation procedures
- Experience handling personal injury cases
- Strong research and writing skills
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and client relations skills
- Ability to handle complex cases and multi-task efficiently
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
