Title: Legal Assistant

Location: Madison, WI, 1 day hybrid

Pay: 65k-80k

We are a well established firm, as we grow we need a Legal Assistant to join our team in Madison supporting the Trust & Estates practice area. 

Position Overview
The Legal Assistant will provide comprehensive support to Attorneys in the areas of Trust and Estates. This role involves managing administrative tasks, coordinating documentation, and assisting in the preparation of legal documents to ensure smooth operations within the legal team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents related to trust and estate matters.
  • Manage client communications and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Organize and maintain case files, documents, and records.
  • Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorney review.
  • Coordinate meetings, depositions, and court appearances as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of trust and estate law.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in legal administrative tasks and software applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
