Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician
Location: Whitsett, NC 27377
Hourly: $28 - $34 / Hour + Overtime
Working Hours: Mon - Fri 12pm - 8:30pm (w/ some flexibility)
Founded in 1965 we are a 200 employee leader in contamination control for clean room & controlled environment consumable products. We have 4 facilities around the Whitsett / Greensboro area dedicated to manufacturing & developing products used across a variety of industries including aerospace, automotive, food processing, healthcare, medical device and pharmaceutical. We have the need for a split shift Maintenance Technician with a sound background in the mechanical, electrical, HVAC and wiring space to join our team.
What You Will Be Doing
1) Provide preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, robotics, PLCs etc
2) Remove defective parts by dismantling devices in operation by using hoists, cranes, hand tools etc
3) Adjust functional parts of devices & control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs etc
4) Install new equipment or process materials as needed
5) Assist in the installation, programming & repair of automated machinery
6) Maintain safe work environment by complying w/ procedures incl: LockOut/TagOut, Hazard Communication, OSHA regulations, PPE and plant safety
7) Assist in maintaining the lighting, ventilation, security & fire protection
What You Need for this Position
1) 3+ years experience in a manufacturing environment
2) Experience w/ machine tools, engineering drawings, PLCs, robotics, electrical & pneumatic equipment
3) Mechanical aptitude w/ ability to understand graphs, tables, diagrams etc
4) Ability to record maintenance related information on documents
5) Follow ISO Work Instructions specific to position
6) Knowledge in these areas: mechanic, pneumatic, hydraulic, welding, electrical, PLC & robotics
