We are currently looking for a Safety Specialist/EHS Lead, or even an HSE manager to manage and lead the Health, Safety, Wellness, and Environmental areas of our facility located about 45 minutes West of the Chicago, IL metro area, near Algonquin, IL.
The HSE Manager will directly be responsible for all Health and Safety matters at the plant which includes interfacing with OSHA, maintaining compliance to OSHA standards and corporate Policies as well as providing training and support to plant personnel.
PLEASE NOTE - This role, while being the SME for all Safety and Environmental challenges/duties, will be leading the HSE/EHS PROJECTS, but no direct reports at this time. This is a hands on role in an industrial/manufacturing setting.

While SAFETY is the KEY component to the role, there will be a need for those with Environmental experience in Air Emissions and Hazardous Waste handling/processing.
