Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of heavy machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in heavy equipment and machinery.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure proper functionality.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians to address complex issues.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during repair activities.
Test repaired equipment to ensure it operates safely and effectively.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
Valid CDL A license is preferred.
Strong knowledge of heavy equipment repair and maintenance procedures.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
