We are a leading construction firm specializing in civil, industrial, and infrastructure projects. We are committed to excellence, safety, and innovation in every project we undertake. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled Civil Superintendent a major project near the Chicago area.
Responsibilities
-Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities for civil projects.
-Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
-Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.
-Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve issues and ensure smooth project execution.
-Conduct regular site inspections and monitor progress, quality, and safety.
-Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
-Enforce safety protocols and conduct safety meetings to ensure a safe working environment.
-Maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
Qualifications
-At least 5 years of Civil Engineering or Civil Construction Management
-In-depth knowledge of civil engineering, Industrial infrastructure, WWTP, Underground Utilities, DOT construction
-Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
-Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
-OSHA certification or equivalent safety training is preferred.
