We are of the largest and leading construction company's specializing in heavy civil projects. With a commitment to excellence and a track record of delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget, we are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of innovation in the construction industry. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Civil Superintendent to oversee and manage our projects including drainage, stormwater, wastewater and bridges. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil construction, with specific expertise in these areas.
Responsibilities:
-Provide leadership and direction to construction crews and subcontractors on-site.
-Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety protocols.
-Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
-Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure project success.
-Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
-Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
-At least 15 years of experience in heavy civil construction, with a focus on drainage, stormwater, WWTP, and bridges.
-Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects from start to finish.
-Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
-Excellent leadership and communication skills.
-Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and solve problems efficiently.
-Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications.
-OSHA 30-Hour certification preferred.
