Estimator/Project Manager
Position Overview:
We are seeking an Estimator/Project Manager to join our team. The Estimator/Project Manager will be responsible for creating estimates, developing and managing projects, and meeting customer expectations. The ideal candidate will have experience in acoustical, drywall, and commercial and structural frame projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Gather and analyze data in order to develop accurate estimates and project budgets
Develop and manage projects from start to finish, ensuring all customer expectations are met
Review and approve drawings and specifications
Negotiate and review contracts
Manage and coordinate sub-contractors and suppliers
Identify potential risks and develop and execute plans to mitigate those risks
Provide timely, accurate, and detailed progress reports to management and customers
Develop and implement quality assurance checks
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Manage budget and cost control
Maintain excellent working relationships with customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
Qualifications:
Experience with estimating software
Previous experience in an Estimator/Project Manager role
Proven experience in acoustical, drywall, and commercial and structural frame projects
Understanding of construction material take-offs, pricing, and estimating
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other construction-related software
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
High level of organization and time management skills
