Job Title: Estimator
Location: Columbus & Toledo, OH
Salary Rate: $80,000 - $120,000

Responsibilities:
Analyze incoming bid opportunities to determine their feasibility and value.
Support the Senior Project Manager in conducting initial bid reviews.
Represent the company at pre-bid and project meetings when directed.
Prepare bids with guidance from the Preconstruction Group.
Review bid documents and perform plan take-offs for accuracy.
Evaluate constructability issues during proposal preparation.
Procure subcontract and material quotes, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
Communicate equipment needs for bids and assist in procurement evaluations.
Assist in pricing and final submission of bid documents.
Aid in subcontractor and material procurement components as needed.
Attend pre-job meetings to review project scope with assigned Project Manager.
Travel to offices and project sites for training, meetings, and conferences.
Work independently with minimal supervision.
Maintain positive relationships with customers, employees, and the public.
Requirements:
3+ years of heavy civil construction estimating experience.
Experience with construction software such as HCSS HeavyBid, HeavyJob, Plan Swift, Bluebeam, AgTek, and Microsoft Suite.
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent field experience.
Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and willingness to innovate.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
