Electrical Estimator

Position Overview
The Electrical Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for electrical construction projects across various sectors, including commercial and medical. The ideal candidate will utilize their expertise in electrical systems and construction practices to support project management and ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Review project specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and required materials.
Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical installations in commercial and medical facilities.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information for accurate estimations.
Analyze labor, material, and overhead costs to develop competitive bids.
Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to assess project requirements and constraints.
Maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and availability for materials.
Track and manage project budgets to ensure profitability and adherence to financial goals.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an electrical estimator in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and installation practices.
Familiarity with commercial and medical construction projects preferred.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills for cost estimation.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
