We are a  copper mining company that owns an open-pit Mineral Park copper and molybdenum mine.

E & I Superintendent

Position Overview
The E & I Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the electrical and instrumentation operations within the mining and industrial sectors. This role focuses on ensuring that all electrical systems are maintained, operated efficiently, and comply with safety regulations. The superintendent will lead a team of technicians and engineers to support the successful execution of projects and maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the electrical and instrumentation activities on-site, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Manage and mentor a team of electrical and instrumentation technicians and engineers.
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise electrical maintenance and installation projects.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other departments to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures for electrical systems.
  • Provide technical expertise and support for troubleshooting and problem resolution.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with applicable regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation roles, with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems in mining or industrial settings.
  • Proficiency in project management and team leadership.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
