Data Engineer - Microsoft Fabric & Spark

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with experience in Microsoft Fabric and Spark to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and integrating data from various sources to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement data processing pipelines using Microsoft Fabric and Spark.
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
Optimize data flows for performance and reliability in a cloud-based environment.
Monitor and troubleshoot data quality and performance issues in real-time.
Work with DevOps teams to automate deployment and CI/CD processes for data applications.
Utilize REST APIs for data integration and access across various platforms.
Create and maintain documentation related to data architecture and processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with a strong understanding of data architecture and ETL processes.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Spark in data processing.
Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools, particularly Power BI.
Experience with cloud platforms like Azure.
Knowledge of version control systems such as GitHub.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and their usage in data integration.
