Title: Controls Engineer
Location: Kennedale, TX
The Electrical Controls Engineer is responsible for the design, testing, and operation of electrical circuits, components, and control systems. They will also be responsible for troubleshooting and debugging problems, as well as providing guidance on technical design decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement electrical systems for industrial/commercial applications.
Assist with troubleshooting electrical control systems.
Develop and improve existing electrical control systems.
Perform tests on new and existing electrical control systems.
Develop electrical schematics and drawings.
Provide technical support and advice to customers.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Travel up to 30% to customer sites to troubleshoot or install new systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or related field.
2+ years of experience with electrical control systems.
Thorough knowledge of electrical principles, schematics, and drawings.
PLC programming experience using Allen Bradley.
Industry experience in Rubbers, Plastics, or Chemicals preferred.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
