Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Controller to manage our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our financial reporting. The ideal candidate will oversee accounting functions, budgeting, forecasting, and financial compliance, with a strong emphasis on government accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
Prepare and present financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to senior management.
Ensure compliance with government accounting standards and regulations.
Manage the preparation of balance sheets and financial reports.
Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures to enhance efficiency.
Assist in the development of financial strategies and long-term financial planning.
Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors during financial reviews.
Train, mentor, and supervise accounting staff to foster professional growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA, CMA, or EA certification preferred.
Proven experience as a Controller or similar role in a government or contracting environment.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and government accounting standards.
Experience with ERP systems and financial software.
Excellent budgeting and forecasting skills.
Ability to analyze financial data and provide insights for decision-making.
