Commercial Service Technician

Position Overview
The Commercial Service Technician is responsible for performing installation, maintenance, and repairs on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and plumbing in commercial buildings. This role requires a technical expert who can troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Install and maintain HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and plumbing systems in commercial buildings.
Diagnose and repair issues related to heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration.
Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance on systems to ensure optimal performance.
Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and specialized equipment.
Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations during all service tasks.
Communicate effectively with clients regarding service needs and schedule.
Manage inventory of supplies and parts necessary for maintenance and repairs.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent, with relevant technical training.
Proven experience as a Commercial Service Technician or similar role in HVAC and refrigeration.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration units, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation.
Familiarity with safety protocols and industry regulations.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
EPA certification for handling refrigerants is preferred.
