Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and driven Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney to join our team. This role will involve handling complex, high-stakes business disputes, working closely with a senior attorney who has a proven track record of success in commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in general commercial litigation, particularly in areas such as contract disputes, real estate, lender liability, partnership breakups, trade secrets, non-competes, and business torts. This position offers an opportunity to work on sophisticated cases and directly contribute to strategic litigation efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Litigate complex commercial disputes, including contract claims, real estate, and financial matters
Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda for high-stakes cases
Conduct in-depth legal research and case analysis to support litigation strategies
Manage all aspects of discovery, including drafting interrogatories, document requests, and conducting depositions
Prepare for and participate in court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
Work closely with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and trial preparations
Provide legal counsel and updates to a diverse clientele, including real estate developers, financial institutions, entrepreneurs, and business executives
Represent both plaintiffs and defendants in complex business disputes
Assist in managing and organizing case files, legal documents, and correspondence

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the Pennsylvania Bar
3+ of experience in commercial litigation at a law firm
Strong experience handling real estate, banking law, lender liability, and business disputes preferred
Proven ability to handle depositions, draft substantive motions, and appear in court
Strong analytical, research, and writing skills
Excellent client relations and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment
