Your Role As a Business Development Manager, based remotely in the Houston, Texas area, you'll focus on building strong relationships and generating sales with K-12 schools and public libraries. Here's what your day might look like:

  • Identify and Engage: Research and connect with key stakeholders, including Superintendents, Principals, Architects, Library Directors, and Designers.
  • Develop Leads: Uncover opportunities to transform learning spaces by addressing client needs for furniture, supplies, and more.
  • Collaborate and Transition: Work closely with the internal sales team to close deals and ensure successful project execution.
  • Network and Grow: Attend K-12 conferences, trade shows, and events to expand your knowledge and network.
  • Travel: After initial training, expect to spend 3-4 days per week meeting clients in person within your territory.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Strong experience and relationships in the K-12 education market.
  • 3-5 years in a sales role with a proven track record.
  • Familiarity with classroom furniture and learning environment solutions.
  • A self-starter mindset with excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
