The Biotech Automation Manager position is a highly responsible and exciting role in a fast-paced biotech production environment with a focus on automation and robotics. The successful candidate will be a highly experienced automation professional with an extensive background in robotics, automation, and instrumentation.
The Biotech Automation Manager will be responsible for coordinating, trouble shooting, and supervising all aspects of automation engineering in the production facility. They must have a deep understanding of automated equipment and process control systems, including Delta V, DCS, CMMS, SCADA, PLC, HMI, AC, DC, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Profibus, Profinet, and Ethernet. This position also requires a good working knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles. The successful candidate should have experience with chemical processing, filtration, centrifugation, precipitation, chromatography, bioreactors, CIP, SIP, and mass flow.
