Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Trust and Estate Attorney to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trust and estate law, with expertise in drafting wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents, as well as administering estates and handling estate litigation matters.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients on matters related to trust and estate planning, administration, and litigation.
- Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents tailored to the individual needs and objectives of clients.
- Assist clients with the administration of trusts and estates, including probate proceedings, asset distribution, and tax filings.
- Represent clients in estate litigation matters, including will contests, trust disputes, and fiduciary litigation.
- Stay abreast of changes in trust and estate laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide strategic advice to clients.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing trust and estate law, with a focus on estate planning and administration.
