Aircraft Paint Technician

Position Overview
The Aircraft Paint Technician is responsible for preparing, stripping, and applying paint finishes to aircraft surfaces according to industry standards and specifications. The role requires attention to detail and a strong understanding of various painting techniques to ensure high-quality results and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare aircraft surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as necessary.
Strip existing paint from aircraft surfaces using appropriate methods and tools.
Apply paint finishes to aircraft surfaces in accordance with technical specifications and safety standards.
Conduct quality checks on painted surfaces to ensure adherence to standards and specifications.
Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition and ensure a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in painting or related fields is preferred.
Proven experience as a paint technician or similar role in the aviation industry.
Strong knowledge of paint types, application techniques, and safety standards.
Ability to work with various tools and materials used in the painting process.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and precision.
